Escondido Center of Self Realization Fellowship

Young Adults Group!

We Welcome You!

We are a group of spiritually like-minded young adults between the ages of 18 and 40 with a shared purpose: To deepen our connection to our true selves through the teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda and Self-Realization Fellowship (SRF). We come together to deepen our personal Sadhana, develop long‑lasting, spiritually‑rooted friendships, and integrate ourselves in the spiritual community at the Escondido Center of SRF established by long-time devotees.

“Friendship is the noblest human expression of God’s desire to show His love to man…True friendship is divine love, for it is unconditional and it is real and lasting.”

– Paramahansa Yogananda

See What We Have Planned!

We gather monthly at the Escondido Center of SRF where we engage in spiritual discussion, kirtan, meditation, introspection, and heartfelt fellowship. We also have a host of other fellowship activities planned such as hiking in nature, giving back through seva opportunities, and embarking on pilgrimage tours.

A Poem on Divine Friendship:

“Friendship is noble, fruitful, holy-
When two separate souls march in difference
Yet in harmony, agreeing and disagreeing,
Glowingly improving diversely,
With one common longing to find solace in true pleasure.
When ne’er the lover seeks
Self-comfort at cost of the one beloved,
Then, in that garden of selflessness
Fragrant friendship perfectly flowers.
For friendship is a hybrid, born of two souls,
The blended fragrance of two unlike flowers
Blown together in love’s caressing breeze.
Friendship is born from the very core
Of secret inexplicable likings.”

Whispers from Eternity

– Paramahansa Yogananda

“May thy love flow shine forever on the sanctuary of our devotion, and may we be able to awaken thy love in all hearts. Om, Peace, Amen.”

– Paramahansa Yogananda
